Uncovering The Truth About IndianCupid: Is It Worth It?

Are you looking for love in all the wrong places? Tired of swiping left and right with no luck? Well, if you’re ready to try something new, why not give IndianCupid a shot?! This dating site is designed specifically for those seeking an Indian partner – so let’s see what it has to offer! Will it be your cupid or will it leave you wanting more? Let’s find out!

Verdict

IndianCupid is like a bad Indian takeout – it looks promising but ends up being disappointing. It’s not worth the time or money, and I’d recommend steering clear of this dating site. From my experience, there were hardly any active users on the platform so you’re likely to be wasting your time trying to find someone who actually responds! Plus, most of the profiles seemed fake with very little information about them; overall it was just an unappetizing mess that wasn’t worth exploring further.

How we reviewed IndianCupid

As an online dating expert, I and my team put in a lot of effort to review IndianCupid. We tested both the free and paid versions for our review process. To get a better understanding of how it works, we sent messages to other users – around 100 over 5 days! We also looked into user profiles carefully by taking note of their interests, hobbies etc., which gave us more insight into what kind of people use this site. Furthermore, we took time exploring all features offered on IndianCupid such as messaging system & chat rooms that allowed us to interact with other members in real-time. Additionally, we checked out customer service support available on the website so that if any issues arise during usage they can be addressed quickly without much hassle or delay. Lastly but most importantly was our commitment towards providing readers with an unbiased opinion about IndianCupid – something not many reviews sites offer these days!

IndianCupid features

IndianCupid is a dating site that promises to bring together Indian singles from all over the world. But, if you ask me, it falls short of its promise in more ways than one!

First off, let’s talk about the free features on IndianCupid. They’re pretty much non-existent! You can create an account and fill out your profile but that’s about it – no messaging or even viewing other profiles unless you upgrade to their paid membership plan. It doesn’t seem like they really want people using this website for free at all – which I find kind of shady since most reputable sites offer some sort of basic access without having to pay anything up front.

The paid features are better but still not great compared with other similar websites out there today. For starters, you don’t get any special perks when upgrading; just access to view and message others as well as see who has visited your profile recently (which isn’t exactly revolutionary). And while they do have a “Matchmaking Service" feature where users can search based on certain criteria such as age range or location…it feels clunky and outdated compared with what else is available these days online for finding potential dates/matches quickly & easily.

Speaking of matches…I’m also disappointed by how few unique matchmaking tools IndianCupid offers: aside from searching manually through user profiles there aren’t many options here so if someone wants something more sophisticated then this probably isn’t going be the best place for them either unfortunately.. Even worse though? The fact that customer service seems almost nonexistent here too – trying getting help via email takes forever because responses come back slow (if at all!) so good luck actually resolving any issues should arise during use.

All in all? Not impressed by my experience thus far with India Cupid 🙁 Unless things drastically improve soon I’d say steer clear until further notice –there are plenty better alternatives elsewhere!

  • Secure and anonymous communication tools
  • Easy to use search filters to find compatible matches
  • Matches based on your interests, hobbies, and lifestyle
  • Verified profiles to ensure safety and security
  • Video chat feature for real-time conversations

User Profiles

If you’re looking for an online dating experience that doesn’t quite hit the mark, IndianCupid might be it. The user profiles are public and can be viewed by anyone on the site – so no matter how much effort you put into creating a custom bio or hiding your location info, chances are someone will find out who you really are.

The location information is displayed in each profile but unfortunately there isn’t any indication of distance between users which makes finding potential matches more difficult than other sites like Tinder or Bumble where this feature is available. Plus, if privacy matters to you then don’t expect too much from IndianCupid as there’s no way to hide your exact whereabouts from other members – not even with a premium subscription!

Speaking of subscriptions…there aren’t many benefits associated with having one on IndianCupid apart from being able to view full-sized photos and send unlimited messages (which let’s face it – most people do anyway). I also encountered several fake profiles while testing out the site; some were obvious enough that they could have been spotted without me pointing them out but others weren’t so easy to spot until after chatting for awhile…so buyer beware!

All in all, I wouldn’t recommend using India Cupid unless absolutely necessary because at best its just mediocre compared to similar sites like Okcupid or Match.com which offer better features such as detailed search filters and compatibility tests designed specifically for long term relationships rather than casual hookups

Design & Usability

IndianCupid is a dating site that promises to bring Indian singles together. Unfortunately, it falls short in its design and usability. The colors are garish – bright oranges and pinks make for an eye-straining experience! Not only does the color scheme not match up with the theme of romance, but it’s also just plain ugly.

The layout isn’t much better either; everything looks cluttered on one page which makes navigation difficult at best. Even after some time spent exploring around you still can’t find what you need without scrolling through several pages or clicking multiple times before getting there – talk about a headache! It feels like they’ve thrown all their features onto one page hoping something will stick…and nothing has stuck so far except my eyes to this awful display of disorganization!

And don’t get me started on how hard it is to use IndianCupid if you’re new here – I had no idea where anything was located when I first logged in and had difficulty finding out even basic information such as who sent me messages or who liked my profile pictures (not that anyone did). You’d think they would have made these things easier to access given how important communication between users is supposed be for any online dating platform…but alas, no luck here folks!.

What really gets under my skin though? Is that despite all these issues with UI/UX design…they expect people pay money for premium subscriptions?! That’s right: supposedly paying customers get access to improved user interface designs but from what I’m seeing thus far….I wouldn’t hold your breath waiting too long because those improvements may never come anytime soon.. In conclusion: If your looking for love online then steer clear away from this mess called “Indian Cupid” cause trust me honey…..you ain’t gonna find none here!!

Signing up

So, you’re thinking about joining IndianCupid? Well, buckle up because I’m here to take you through the registration process. First off – it’s free and open to anyone 18 or older so that’s a plus! To get started on your journey of finding love (or just someone interesting) head over to their website. You’ll see an option for "Join Free" right at the top which is where we want to go next. Clicking this will bring up a page with two options: Sign Up With Email or Log In With Facebook. If you choose email then all they need from ya is some basic info like name, age and gender along with creating a username/password combo before hitting submit – easy peasy! But if going down the Facebook route sounds more appealing then be warned; they’ll have access to quite a bit of information including your likes & interests as well as profile pics…so proceed with caution! Once everything has been filled out correctly hit “Submit” and voila – welcome aboard sailor!! Now let me tell ya one thing though – don’t forget those pesky Terms & Conditions when signing up otherwise things could get real messy real fast…trust me on this one haha!! All in all registering for IndianCupid isn’t too difficult but make sure not rush into anything without giving it proper thought first ’cause there ain’t no turning back once submitted y’know what I mean? So whether its long-term romance or short-term flings either way good luck my friend…you got this!!!

  • To register on IndianCupid, you will need:
  • A valid email address
  • A username
  • A password
  • Your gender
  • Your date of birth
  • Your country of residence
  • Your marital status

Pricing

If you’re looking for a dating site, IndianCupid is not the one. Sure, it looks nice and has some features that are worth checking out but its pricing plan will leave your wallet feeling empty! It isn’t free – to use any of their services or even view messages from other users you need to pay up.

The subscription plans aren’t exactly cheap either; they range from $30-40 per month depending on how long you sign up for. Plus there’s no way of knowing if this investment in love will actually work out since most people don’t stick around very long – so it feels like throwing money down the drain! And let’s be honest here: with all these extra fees and hidden costs, IndianCupid can hardly be called competitively priced compared to similar sites.

In terms of benefits though? Well…you get access to more advanced search filters which might help narrow down potential matches quicker but honestly speaking I think there are better options available when it comes finding true love online without breaking the bank!

Plan Price Features
Standard Free Create a profile, search for matches, send messages, upload photos, add to favorites
Gold $24.98/month All standard features plus: advanced matching algorithms, message translation, VIP profile highlighting
Platinum $29.98/month All gold features plus: exclusive search features, anonymous browsing, profile verification, and access to live chat support

Q&A

1. Is IndianCupid worth it?

I tried IndianCupid and it was a huge waste of time. It’s not worth the effort, as most of the profiles are inactive or fake. I wouldn’t recommend this dating site to anyone looking for love.

2. How to use IndianCupid without paying?

Using IndianCupid without paying is not recommended as it severely limits your access to the site’s features. Free members can only view profiles, send interests and communicate with paid members, so you won’t be able to make the most of this dating service if you don’t upgrade your account. It’s best to pay for a subscription if you want an enjoyable experience on IndianCupid.

3. How much does IndianCupid cost?

IndianCupid is pretty expensive, definitely not worth the money. It’s way too pricey for what you get in return – it’s just a dating site after all! Not impressed at all.

4. Is IndianCupid real?

Yes, IndianCupid is real – but it’s definitely not the best dating site out there. The quality of profiles and matches are pretty low, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for something serious. Plus, the interface isn’t very user-friendly either!
